Jim and I got to go to the Cotton Bowl this year! We had a fantastic time…winning helped 🙂 We met up with Sam and Mel and some friends that live in Dallas and tailgated all afternoon then headed in to the game that night.  I was up WAY later than my usual but I was screaming so loud I didn’t notice. It was a total blast! GO HOGS!

We had a great Christmas this year! The fam went to Christmas Eve services at our church. The music was amazing, and the message was wonderful! We had such a great time. Then the next morning the girls were up VERY early to see what Santa brought them. VERY. EARLY. It was so fun to see their happy faces though! That night the Settles invited us over for a yummy dinner. The girls had a great time playing together! Then on the 26th we drove down to Nashville for Christmas there. We had such a relaxing and fun day! We enjoyed every moment of this Christmas.

I have a boatload of pics this month so thought I would go ahead and share them before Christmas rolls around. We ran around like crazy this month with school plays, church plays, several Santa visits, dance observation days AND two gymnastics meets! We have been geared up to celebrate Christmas all month!

Sydni had a wonderful birthday! In the pics I have some that I took for her invite then some that Sam Settle took. He did an amazing job! I just love all of the images! We had Sydni’s party at Monkey House AGAIN by her request. I know its a really busy time of year so I am so grateful to all of our friends and family that came out to celebrate her special day!

The Davis Family invited all of us over for a Christmas party. The kids had a blast playing together! Iwas able to catch some cute shots of them 🙂 I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends with such wonderful kids. I went back thru my pictures and we have been having this annual party at someone’s house since 2005. So this is our 7th annual 🙂

We had another fun month of visitors! Shana and Matilda came up with Mom and Hix for a Razorback game. Its always an event when Matilda comes! Sydni can barely contain her excitment! The girls had a wonderful time together.
This year for Thanksgiving we stayed home and hosted Jim’s dad, Grandpa John. The girls had a ball with him. He was such a good sport and played all their games and puzzles. We all really enjoyed his visit. We hope he can come again very soon.

Today was a very special day because I got to help host a BABY shower for one of my oldest and dearest friends today. Kim is having TWINS in February. She made the long trek from Florida to Arkansas this weekend to celebrate their upcoming arrival. My mom opened her beautiful home, Linda (the memaw-to-be) and Ms. Ruthy Barns provided the amazing food, and I got to do all the fun invites and decorations. It was a great party! These babies are already so loved.

Its finally Halloween! The girls had a ball this year again! Syd got to have a parade at her school in her costume. It was so fun getting to meet her friends and see all the cute costumes. That night we headed over to the Settle’s and Johnson’s neighborhood to ToT with Landry, Loghan, Lucas, and Bryce. Its so much more fun in a large group! The kids were precious in their costumes and loved getting candy!

This month we had lots of visitors! Mom and Hix came up with Matt, Laura and Rowdy to go to the Hog game. Rowdy stayed with us while they went to the game. He reminded me what a 1 yr old was all about! Sydni doted over him all night. She is going to be a great babysitter one day! I already shared some pics of the White visit earlier this month, but I have a few more when they went to Sydni’s football game. We all had so much fun! Halloween is just around the corner. Can’t wait to share those pics!

Whew! What a weekend! October is a popular month for birthdays around here. And we got to celebrate lots of them this weekend. The Whites came up from OKC and stayed with us for the weekend. The girls had a ball playing with their kids. It was awesome getting to spend some quality time with them. Friday was Maranda’s 3rd birthday at Pizza Warehouse, Saturday was Landry’s 4th birthday at the Monkey House, and then Sunday we ended the weekend at Chuck E Cheese for Spencer’s 3rd birthday. It was busy and somewhat exhausting but a fun way to spend the weekend celebrating these 3 sweet kiddos.
