The Bottjens

Things are bustling in the Bottjen house! Sydni had cheer pics this month so I got some myself of her at home. She is so beautiful and gotten so good at cheering! WHO KNEW?! She loves it and tries very hard and always listens to her coach. She is an awesome student! Averi is still my little horse rider and loves everything about it. Its quite the trek back and forth to the farm but she is so into it I can’t imagine not taking her. Also this month we also got to welcome a new member to our crew! The Settles welcomed baby #3, Sawyer Michael! He is a total doll. SO happy for them!!!

Another super fun Halloween in the books! Every year its gets easier and more fun! By the time we have the routine down the girls will be too old to dress up 🙁 We started off the celebration over the weekend at church for Trunk or Treat. We had so much fun and will definitely do a trunk next year! I loved all the different themes! Then on Halloween the girls had a party and parade at school. After that I loaded them up and stopped by ABF for some candy then the Johnsons and Settles for a hello and MORE candy. As if they didn’t have enough we headed around the block that night. So fun and even ran into the Keys while we were out. We even got home in time to hand out candy at home which I think is the girls’ fave part 🙂

Here are our September pics! Some shots of our last few days in the pool (sniff), some pics from the girls dancing with the Dixie Belles (so fun!) and then just some random pics from throughout the month. We are firing on all cylinders in the Bottjen household right now trying to stay on top of school, dance, cheer, tumbling and horseback riding. Pray for my sanity please 🙂

Sadly summer came to an end. The girls were ready though! They have had a little too much togetherness lately! Averi had another kidney checkup at ACH. Things are looking better but they still want to keep an eye on her so we will go back next summer. The girls met their teachers. Sydni got Mrs. Dailey, who she had in kinder. Averi has Mrs. Gilliaum, who Sydni had in 1st. So we are familiar with the teachers. Everyone seems happy and settling in great! Sydni was at the top of the behavior chart this week even clipping off one day! Dance starts up next month and that always makes for a much longer week. We are still working on getting Averi set up with regular horseback riding lessons. Then we rounded off the month with us celebrating our 10th anniversary! Woohoo!

Once we got back from the beach we stuck around FS most of July. Sydni had her swim team lessons and she loved them!! She was really good! I am kind of bummed that she can’t continue in the fall because she already committed to the cheer program at Flame. I am hoping next year she can do it. Averi had regular lessons for a week and did great! I think she will do swim team with Sydni next summer. She is definitely ready!

Happy Summer! Averi wrapped up tball and the only person happier about that than me was Averi! HA! She did such a good job! We were very proud of her 🙂 She also fit in her first horseback riding lesson and LOVED IT! Sydni got to go to her very first rodeo this month too and decided she might want to try riding as well. So we might have 2 cowgirls on our hands soon! The Whites came for a visit this month from OKC. It was so good seeing them and relaxing by the pool. I just realized that I don’t have a sister pic to put on this month’s pictures! I think thats a first! I am sure I will make up for that at the beach next month! 🙂
