Well we had several rounds of cheer pics this year… not that I am complaining! Sam got some great shots for us early on. Then a couple rounds with Karen so safe to say we are covered this year! 🙂 So proud of my little captain! She has grown up so much this year already.

Lots of running around for the Bottjens the last couple months! But oh so much fun <3 Football season is in full swing so our Thurs and Friday nights are full of cheering, dancing and football!! I couldn’t be happier 🙂 Sydni is also immersed in SDA competition prep dancing 15+ hrs a week on top of her Belle practices and she managed some pretty good grades this first 9 weeks as well! Averi is also super busy this year of course with her cheer team but also the additional practices on the competition cheer team with some pretty good grades too! I can’t WAIT to see her compete in a few weeks!!! Halloween was a non event this year… Averi went to several haunted houses and Sydni squeezed in some fun with her dance team in between a weekend intensive. Not the same as in years past but so thankful they are happy and healthy 🙂 Rozi likes handing out candy the most anyway!

This summer Averi was on Anne Marie’s teen team, a local photographer. Sydni did it last summer so I thought Ave might enjoy it. She had so much fun and got to do so many fun shoots!! Annie is so awesome to work with and so creative!

Summer wrapped up with lots of dance and cheer practice and a start to Junior and Freshman year for my girls! So exciting to have them at the same school again! Football season is so fun and I am so happy to see things somewhat more normal for these kids. There is still quarantining going on but praying every day that its getting better.

Sydni’s dance studio had their very first showcase this year! It was held at the Bakery District downtown. Such a beautiful fun place for a dance showcase! We loved it! SDA has offered Sydni the opportunity to increase her studio time and receive more focused technique and training on a pre professional level. I am so thankful she has the chance to establish a strong dance foundation to follow her dreams! So excited for season 2!

We wrapped up school and headed right into summer! Lots of end of school activities with cheer and dance. Averi finally got a chance to do team pics with the cheer team. So glad we were able to get that done! Sydni got to go to a fun banquet for the belles and dress up all pretty 🙂 We dont have much planned this summer but the girls have stayed busy!

Annual trip to Crystal Beach was this week!!! Always such a good time <3 I absolutely loved the house we found this year and the weather was PERFECT…we couldn’t have asked for more. And Rozi got to come too!! YAY! She did great!! (in the house …shes not a beach dog) Patti, Laini and Reagan got to come visit too! It was so good to see them and catch up. Can’t wait for next year!

Averi and her cheer team got to attend the NCA cheer camp in Hot Springs this week!! Sooooo happy covid didn’t ruin this!!!! <3 She had so much fun and worked REALLY HARD. It was so fun to watch her cheer and compete! I literally think shes the prettiest cheerleader I have ever seen 🙂 So excited for football season! YAY! Go Mavs!

Somehow my baby girl went off and turned 14 on me! Shes such a great kid and makes being her mom so easy. I adore her <3 even in these cranky teen years! Since her bday is smack dab in the middle of May and everything is going on all at once we just did a little party at home for her on her actual day then the next weekend took her and her friends to Hochatown for the weekend to zipline! We had such a great time!
