After church today some friends came over for a fun pool party to celebrate Memorial Day! All the kids played so well together and had a great time!! Jim grilled up some yummy kabobs so we ate well too 🙂 I want to say a big thank you to all our friends and family that serve and have served in the military so that we could enjoy this wonderful weekend.

What a crazy busy month we have had! Recital, farm visits, birthdays, Corp Fam Day, tball, tball and more tball…this month has flown by! There is rarely a night when we aren’t up to something lately…but its been lots of fun!!!Â

Averi had a wonderful and very busy birthday! After Sydni’s early tball game, a stop at Corporate Family Day at ABF then an appearance at her own tball game, we made it on over to Wild Things Farm for Averi’s birthday party! It was pretty cold, but the kids didn’t notice! Everyone had a wonderful time!! Averi had the best birthday ever! Thank you so much to everyone who came and sent gifts. Averi has enjoyed them all! She is a such a special and amazing little girl. I am so very proud to be her momma 🙂

Well the recital was a success! The girls and I were completely worn out from practices and rehearsals, but it was all worth it. They were SO beautiful 🙂 Sydni had 3 dances of ballet, tap and jazz then Averi had ballet and tap. They were so confident up on stage. I couldn’t believe how comfortable they were. It was so much fun!

We have had a great month! The girls posed pretty for some before church pics then I got some of them at tball practice. They have had many practices together so that helped a lot! Games start this week!

We had a wet and soggy Easter, but the girls didn’t mind! We headed to our church on Saturday for an egg hunt with the Settles and Davis. Then after church on Sunday, the Settles invited us over for a wonderful lunch and one last egg hunt. The girls had a bast!

The fam headed to Nashville for an early Easter celebration. The girls hadn’t seen GranGran and Papaw in a few months so they were very excited to get there! We had a great time egg hunting at their church then more egg hunting at their house. We had a wonderful time!Â

I know its early but I just had to share these beautiful pics I got of the girls this month! Spring is here, and they are quite happy about it! There are also some pics from the girls dance class on parent day. They are such beautiful dancers! Tball is in full swing (no pun intended) and my April schedule is jam packed with practices! Both girls are playing this year so it will be very busy at the Bottjen house!

The girls had a fun February of snow and sunshine! …only in Arkansas! SettlePhotos shared some precious pics of Averi from the gym meet. Thanks Sam! Then I got some pics of the girls just playing on a nice day (can’t wait for spring!). And then some pics of the girls in their new Matilda Jane before church last Sunday :). Thankful for a great February but looking forward to a spring-filled March!

Lots of fun pics this month!! The girls were finally able to play in some snow! We didn’t get much but enough to cancel school a couple times. Then Sydni did a Dixie Belles clinic one Saturday and got to perform her cheers and dance at the Southside Girls basketball game! She did so good!! I was crying I was so proud 🙂 Then Averi had her chance for a gymnastics meet. She had a ball!! It was even more fun because Averi got to perform with the Settle’s little girl, Landry. Both girls were great!
