Lots of basketball games these 2 months!!! Loved watching the girls dance and cheer in the new arena! It is so nice! Senior night was celebrated so Sydni unofficially became a senior! So crazy!

Well SDA had quite a showing at this competition!! I was in Orlando with Averi so Jim was dance dad! So thankful to Andrea and my dance mom friends for sending me pics!

Gone- double diamond, 1st overall, Jazz category cup and Kidz Rock invite

UCA Nationals Orlando 2/11-13

What an amazing weekend we had! Averi’s cheer comp group qualified for Nationals but with Covid didn’t get the go ahead from the school until so late!! The team rallied though and was able to raise enough money to send the entire team to Orlando! It was nerve wracking but so worth it. Since they couldn’t make their reservations until so late the only place avail was the Animal Kingdom Lodge so the kids stayed at Disney in style! I stayed down the road in a ramada 😐 it was fine though! I was too exhausted to care each night! Friday the kids performed in prelims and were sent on to semifinals. They went to Hollywood Studios then Epcot that night. Saturday afternoon they performed at semis and were sent on to finals and Sat night they performed at finals and won 3rd in the nation for super varsity non tumbling Game day (i think i got that right)!! Out of 35 teams! SO FUN! Sunday they spent the whole day at Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom…. my old self went home! haha I am thrilled Averi got to be a part of this and hope she can continue the next 3 years! Go Mavs!

Hollywood Vibe 1/21-23

SDA headed to a new comp/conv this year called Hollywood Vibe. It was recommended by one of their choreographers and it was AMAZING! By far the best dancing I have seen at a comp. So good!! The girls all scored high golds and even got a platinum on “Gone” placing 4th in teen AND it won best costume!! That dance is so fun!

The Girls 11-12/21

A fun holiday couple months we have had! The girls finished up football season and Averi went straight into comp season with her cheer team. They did so well and ended the season 3rd in the state! Averi also tried out and made all region choir!! It was so much fun to get to hear her sing at the concert. I wish she had time to keep it up thru high school 🙁 Sydni got to march in the Christmas parade this year with the belles! So much fun for our Christmas elf 🙂 Basketball season has started up to and its so fun to watch the girls cheer and dance in the nice new arena! Way better than the Ramsey days..!!! Of course there were many christmas parties the girls went to which was fun too! Hope everyone has a great ’22!

Christmas 2021

Merry Christmas everyone! What a beautiful holiday we had even though it was 80 degrees so made it hard to feel like Christmas!! We had our pics done by Jade Graves again this year and they almost didn’t happen. Jim and I have had Christmas cards EVERY YEAR since we have been married and our little fam was SO crazy busy this fall…. I had to reschedule on Jade twice and then ended up having to pull the girls out of school just to get it done! It worked out though 🙂 Our church asked Sydni to dance in the Christmas eve service this year and it was gorgeous!! She looked like an angel <3 We headed south for Christmas lunch in Nashville and had a great time. Feeling very blessed and very thankful and very mindful of all God has done for me and my family this year.

Sydni’s 17th birthday 12/17

The older these girls get the harder it is to celebrate birthdays!!! We had to squeeze in a family lunch the day before Syd’s bday. Then day of she went shopping with Summer before hurrying home for the Belle Christmas party! Since it fell on her bday I had a super cute cake made at Creative Kitchen! I think she had a wonderful day being celebrated!!! This girl is a handful but I am so crazy proud of her!! She works so hard at everything she does and gives 110% always! She can never sit still. And when I say never thats exactly what I mean!! Watching her dance is one of my greatest joys and I am so very blessed to watch her grow into this amazing young woman. I love you SydniBeth <3

Averi SHS Competition Cheer 2021

With the change in the schools Averi as a freshman to tryout for the varsity cheer comp team! Her comp season has been a whirlwind and gone too fast but she had a ball and so did I! I was so proud of them and how hard they worked and how much they practiced!! You don’t see that level of commitment from teens very often. VERY COOL. Her first comp was in Alma. They didn’t place BUT one of the stunt groups won the stunt competition so that was really cool!! The next was in Van Buren. There they were overall game day champs! Next was Bentonville where they really did well! Best in their division and overall!!! They ended their season in Hot Springs at the state comp. While they didn’t end they way they wanted to I thought they looked SO GOOD!! AND finished 3rd in the entire state! Quite an accomplishment! And it was fun to have Gran and Pap there to celebrate 🙂

TOP Holiday 12/4-5

This is Sydni’s 3rd time to participate at TOP Holiday! Its turned into such a fun competition getting us all geared up for comp season with a wonderful Christmas vibe!! All of the team had their solos ready to perform this year! Then Syd and Summer had a free entry from last year for a duo so they got it ready as well! And THEN Andrea got one of their groups whipped into shape in time too so the girls were able to do a group! SO FUN!!! They were great!! Such a fun weekend!! There were even MORE entries than last year and such amazing talent! WOW!

Thanksgiving 2021

We had a great Thanksgiving in Oklahoma again this year! We ended up having to change our reservation last minute so had to stay further away from Hochatown than we normally do which was a kind of a pain. But it was a nice clean place with plenty of room! We even stayed an extra day this year which was nice to chill and then get to shop later 🙂 Bring on Christmas!!!!!! <3
